We're offering both "A" and "B" rides this weekend on our famous routes which may include up to 3500 feet of climbing over 50 to 60 miles. "B" rides will have two guides to accommodate riders who may want to go at a more moderate "B-" pace.

Pancake Weekend

July 10 & 11, 2010
September 25 & 26, 2010

Ride Noho's Pancake Weekend is all about pancake-flat riding and delicious Sylvester's pancakes. We'll be doing A and B paced flat rides after fueling-up on fresh local strawberry-topped, manhole cover sized flapjacks (if you dare).

If you enjoy riding past farmland on lightly traveled roads with views of the Connecticut River and the surrounding hills, you'll love these rides. And if you also love the taste of just-picked strawberries and real Massachusetts maple syrup, you'll love these pancakes.

Our Tenth Annual Epic Climbing Weekend in 2010!

July 17 & 18, 2010

We're making our Epic Climbing Weekend even more Epic, by climbing majestic Mt. Greylock! Here is your opportunity to test your climbing skills on 3500 foot Mt. Greylock . After an early Saturday-morning van ride to the mountain, you'll ride a route that offers plenty of opportunity for warm-up. With pace being made by Ride Noho guides, you'll be delivered to the base of the climb with fresh legs that are ready to go. And after the recent paving project, the Reservation's roads are nice and smooth! Afterward, we'll have lunch in picturesque Williamstown Massachusetts before the van ride back to Northampton.

The weekend finishes-up with our newly improved Epic Sunday route which is made up of 70 miles and more than 7400 feet of climbing. The updated route includes some even quieter roads and smoother pavement! With guides at the front and back of the group, frequent regroups and van support, there's no getting dropped. Make your reservation now!

Mt. Greylock Weekend

August 13 through 15

(Due to a Family Emergency, this event has been rescheduled from July 30 through August 1, 2010)

The state of Massachusetts is finally done repaving the roads in the Greylock reservation, a project that had closed those roads for two summers. That means we're going to Greylock (You can read about the paving project by clicking here)! The north side features 2800 feet of elevation gain in 10 miles, topping out at 3500 feet and with 15 to 20% sections that will indeed test your climbing ability. This is a world-class climb that you just have to experience.

The itinerary includes a warm-up ride to Historic Deerfield on Friday with a climb of Mt. Sugarloaf to test our legs for Saturday's ascent of Greylock. Sugarloaf's access road is an uninterupted 1.4K climb averaging 10.75%. On Saturday, we'll take a van-ride to Greylock where we'll mount the bikes for a 40-mile loop that includes the famous Greylock climb. We'll have lunch in Williamstown before piling into the vans for the drive home. On Sunday, we'll give our legs a break on one of our A or B rides (your choice as we'll be offering both) when we'll be able to recount our efforts from the previous day.

2010 A, B, C Ride Weekend:

September 4 through 6, 2010

You can choose to come for two or all three days of this wonderful cycling event.

"A" rides are for stronger riders who can easily handle 18-20 mph on the flats, and who enjoy rides with multiple climbs. These may total as much as 3000 vertical feet per ride, so 39/23 gearing is recommended. There will be at least one "A" ride per day, either flat or hilly.

"B" rides are for cyclists who can maintain 15-17 mph on the flats and enjoy multiple climbs totaling up to 3000 vertical feet per ride, so 39/26 or "triple" gearing is recommended. Although climbs may be included, the pace for these will be moderate.

"C" Rides are not to be confused with our A and B rides, which are for serious cyclists who train regularly. The C Rides are designed for novice cyclists who have done some limited riding, or for experienced cyclists who have been away from the sport. They will roll at an average of 13 to 15 miles per hour on the flats, and will have very little climbing. They will range from 25 to 35 miles in length, and will include a few strategically placed stops for quick refreshment.

You can do our "C" rides on upright bikes, like mountain bikes or hybrids, on which we recommend that you install slick tires. Rides include basic instruction about cycling technique and safety. Most of all, they'll include loads of fun!

"Wow, what a great job you do and what a great time we had. Great roads, great cycling and great people. We know it is your job to care for people and make them comfortable, but you are really impressive. You made us feel so welcome and genuinely befriended. That is hard to do when you see dozens of people rolling through your program."
