The Original
Triathletes' Cycling Skills Camp

Let us help you go faster on the bike!

May 6, 2017 (Rain Date - May 7, 2017)
Will be held under a USA Cycling Permit

This is fun!

This one-day mini-camp will cover the finer points of road riding. You will learn efficient climbing and pedaling technique, descending, cornering and braking skills, and road etiquette. You will gain an understanding of how your bike is designed to take advantage of physics for stability and efficiency.

Your morning will be spent executing specific skills and workouts, and the afternoon will include a seminar reinforcing what we covered on the road and introducing proper bike fit and the essentials of bike maintenance. We will also discuss training methods that will build power and tactics that will help you go faster. Most of all, you'll have a great time ensconced in the beautiful sport of cycling in one of the best spots in the world to enjoy it.

This camp is designed for those who are looking for a structured approach to learning the skills that will make the bike component of your races faster and more enjoyable. Participants should bring a road or TT bike and have a basic fitness level that allows them to enjoy a ride of 25+ miles over varying terrain.

Out of town attendees will arrive in Northampton on Friday evening, May 5, and depart on the afternoon of Saturday, May 6, 2017. The camp includes accommodations at The Hotel Northampton or the Northampton Quality Inn & Suites (formerly the Best Western Northampton), a hearty breakfast and lunch, as well as written materials to support the coaching. Local athletes will meet the group for breakfast on Saturday morning. To assure personal attention, each camp is limited to 8 attendees, so be sure to reserve your space by signing up now!!

I enjoyed the rides so much because of the climbing and descending techniques you taught me last summer at "My First Road Bike Camp." . . .Thanks for all the great teaching!"
